Patrik Gryst (nom de plume) was born in Blackburn, England in 1966 and is of Irish heritage. He lives in the North of England with his partner and two sons. He has previously worked as an archaeologist, embalmer and psychiatric nurse. Patrik makes a living as a freelance writer and psychotherapist.  He is currently working on his second novel Lacuna and a collection of poems: Songs from the North Pole
